Rakusanen is the only daimyo garden in Gunma Prefecture, located in Kanraku-cho, Gunma Prefecture, and is designated as a national scenic spot.

Historical Background: The garden of the Obata clan residence built by Nobukatsu Oda, the second son of Nobunaga Oda, in the early Edo period.

Garden style: A graceful pond and spring strolling garden with a pond and surrounding mountains as a borrowed landscape

Origin of the name: From the Analects of Confucius, "Wisdom enjoys water, and virtue enjoys mountains."

Current appearance: After many years of excavation and restoration, the appearance of the Edo period has been faithfully revived, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the four seasons and a break at the teahouse
