ME Trying to be EVERYTHING, but I struggled…

It’s been a long journey… hasn’t it? ✨

There were many moments where I questioned everything — what I was really trying to achieve in life, and whether all the hard work even had a purpose. Sometimes I even wondered… can I just quit? 🤍

Like many others, I graduated with a degree and stepped into the corporate world without really knowing what to expect. It was intimidating, overwhelming, and honestly exhausting.

At one point, I gave up.

Not because I didn’t care, but because I was burnt out — from work, from life, from everything happening all at once. 💭

It felt like the girl who once had nothing but dreams suddenly lost them all. Back to square one.

But starting over gave me something more valuable — clarity. 🌱

Today, I understand money differently. It’s not just about earning an income. It’s about growing your assets so that one day, your money can take care of you.

Because if we work so hard our entire lives but never build anything for the future… what are we really working towards?

Many people are so busy with work that they don’t have the time or space to think about this — and that’s exactly why I care about what I do. 📈

#jasInsured started as a small idea, but it has grown into a community. A space where we learn, grow, and build a better financial future together. 🤝

We’ve come a long way.

And this is only the beginning. 🚀

... Read moreLooking back on my journey, I realize how common it is to feel lost after stepping into the corporate world, especially when you’re trying to be everything at once but not knowing what you’re truly good at. From my experience, juggling multiple roles and redefining my identity was exhausting and often discouraging. I went through phases of working as a model, content creator, cabin crew, and even a baker, always searching for something that clicked. Burnout hit hard after carrying a degree with honors but feeling underpaid and unhappy. What helped me wasn’t just changing jobs or careers but taking time to reset my priorities—focusing on self-care, traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones. This pause gave me the privilege to reflect deeply on what I wanted from life. One of the greatest lessons I learned is that financial freedom isn’t just about earning money but about growing assets that support you long-term. It’s vital to shift from a paycheck mindset to investing in your future. This clarity empowered me to take control by working for myself, setting my own schedule, and connecting with others who share similar goals. Joining and building a community like #jasInsured created a space where we can openly discuss challenges around mindful spending and financial freedom. It reminded me that no one has to navigate this alone. Sharing experiences and learning from one another adds value beyond just numbers—it creates meaningful relationships and motivation. I encourage anyone struggling to try everything or feeling out of place to take a step back and explore what truly matters to you. Finding your purpose might mean starting over, but with patience and intentionality, this process leads to a rewarding journey both financially and personally. Remember, it’s okay to question, pause, and realign your path as many times as needed.

Hi guys, this is my first post here on Lemon8. Thought I’ll use this to properly introduce myself. 2 years ago, when most people chose comfort, I chose risk. I walked away from a 5-figure salary job, right before turning 30, that point in life where everyone tells you to “be stable”. But I

I thought I had more time. Then I dropped out at 21. If you read my last post, you’d know I dropped out of poly. The reasons were a mix of things: failing grades, losing interest, course fees pushing me over the edge, and if I’m being honest… I got lazy. Really lazy. I’ve always struggled wi
