Another day in bed to avoid winter. ❄️
Maxx is 16 and our house is 100. If you’re familiar with old houses you know they take forever to heat up, so we’ve all been bundled in the bedroom with a space heater for two days, waiting for the snow to melt. My neighborhood is pretty tight-knit but I haven’t seen anyone for days outside of my window. Except that one neighbor who has to go for their daily run, sun or rain…or snow. 🙄Everyone’s still messaging in the group chat, but things still feel a bit foreign. January is always a weird space. 🎪🤡
Snow days used to be so fun with the dogs. We’d go outside throughout the day to eat snow and wallow. Now we’re all old and creaky, so it’s best to stay in the warmth. I’m keeping Maxx in sweaters for the next few days and we have a vet appointment Friday to make sure his heart sounds good. The girls are fine. Roxxi has a physical therapy appointment today so she’s gonna get to go for a ride, but other than that, we’re gonna remain bundled up. 🧥🧣☕️🐶
