my favorite productivity apps 🌱👩‍💻

💗 Be Present: this is one of my newest additions to my collection of productivity apps. I love the variety of background sounds they have dedicated to different things, like focusing and going to sleep. I feel like this app is perfect for anyone who wants to incorporate more meditation into their day while also staying on top of their to-do list. The app does have a paid version that has more sounds, but you can get the first month free if you use this link: https://littlebeat.app.link/promo

💗 Reminders: Honestly, I am so paranoid about forgetting things that I have planned, I heavily rely on my reminders app to be reminded about specific events or meetings. I feel like with the number of random things that I get involved in, it takes a lot of stress off my mind to know that I don't need to keep reminding myself about events and meetings because I know I'll be reminded for it in time. Any app for this works, but I just use the default app for this because it gets the job done.

💗 Study Bunny: I know I always bring up this app whenever I talk about my favorite apps, but honestly I just love it too much. It's exactly what I need in a timer app, cute and encouraging. It has all the features that other apps have, like not allowing you to switch apps, a Pomodoro timer that you can adjust to match your preferences, but also gives you rewards for completing a study session that you can use to feed the bunny and give it a cute little house.

💗 Notion: I also know I talk about this app a lot, but the assignment tracking it has is unmatchable. As someone who takes classes from different schools, I've researched all of the top assignment trackers and tested them out, but nothing has beat my Notion. Plus, what I love about Notion is how versatile it is. You can add your Google calendar there, take notes, plan out your paycheck, and literally anything else you can think of. If you are starting out, just remember less is more as it can be overwhelming when you build it to have all of the features. Let me know in the comments if you want my Notion Assignment Tracker Template :)

... Read moreIt's incredible how much a few well-chosen apps can transform your daily grind, right? Beyond the specific tools I highlighted earlier, I've picked up a few tricks and insights over time that really supercharge my productivity. Many of you are curious about the interface and how these apps actually feel to use, so let me dive deeper into how I leverage them to really make a difference. First off, let's talk about reminders and tasks. While my default Reminders app gets the job done, I’ve found that how I set up my reminders is crucial. Instead of just a generic note, I often add context. For example, for a task reminder like "Buy groceries," I might add a sub-task list right in the reminder itself, or even link to a specific grocery list in Notion. For bigger projects, I break them down. If you're looking for a more visual or random task app experience, some friends swear by apps like Any.do, which offers a sleek interface with different views – but honestly, the key is consistency. Make it a habit to check your reminders and proactively mark things off. It's not just about setting them; it's about responding to them. Now, for all my fellow students and anyone needing serious focus, Study Bunny is a gem! The study bunny app interface with its cute, encouraging bunny makes focused work sessions genuinely enjoyable. I particularly love its gamified Pomodoro timer feature. Instead of just a ticking clock, you're working towards feeding your bunny and decorating its little house, which is such a brilliant motivator. My tip? Don't just set the timer and walk away. Use the non-switching apps feature to truly immerse yourself. I also use the rewards system to track my study hours, which helps me see tangible progress, especially when I'm feeling overwhelmed. It's a simple cute bunny study timer but incredibly effective for building study habits. And then there's Notion. Oh, Notion! Its versatility as a comprehensive productivity platform truly shines when you start customizing it beyond just assignment tracking. I’ve gone from using it purely for due dates and status updates to creating entire dashboards for personal goals, budgeting, and even content planning. The beauty of the Notion app interface is its blank canvas approach. If you're overwhelmed, start small. Try using one of their pre-made routine app interface templates to manage your morning or evening rituals. Or, inspired by days matter countdown app interface concepts, create a simple countdown page for important deadlines or events. I link my Notion pages to my Google Calendar, ensuring I never miss a beat. It's about building a system that works for you, not against you. Finally, Be Present. In our busy lives, finding moments of calm is productivity in itself. The Be Present app interface is so serene, with its custom soundboard and time tracking features. I use it not just for meditation, but also to create a focused work environment. A quick 10-minute session with calming sounds before diving into a complex task can make all the difference. It’s about being intentional with your focus and well-being. These apps aren't just tools; they're partners in creating a more organized, focused, and ultimately, happier you. Experiment, personalize, and find what truly resonates with your workflow!
