From my own experience, embracing this phase with patience and self-compassion is key. It’s important to recognize that feeling ‘barely motivated’ is common and okay during this transition. Finding ways to stay active, whether through light exercise or simply getting outdoors, has helped me manage the fluctuations better. Also, connecting with other women over 40 who understand these challenges provides a sense of solidarity and encouragement. Sharing tips, venting frustrations, and celebrating small victories helps create a supportive environment. Tracking symptoms and adjusting lifestyle habits such as nutrition and sleep can also influence how we feel day to day. Sometimes, just allowing yourself grace during difficult moments makes a big difference. Remember, menopause is a natural milestone, and while it has ups and downs, it’s a fresh start to embrace new routines and perspectives.
