Iâve recently been starting to try and not go to as many franchise coffee shops now that they are hiking up the prices for mediocre coffee. Iâve found so many amazing local spots for similar prices to Starbucks that have way better quality.
Iâve also enjoyed meeting some of the owners of these coffee shops, especially with them being so passionate about coffee in general. Itâs really nice to walk into a coffee shop and have someone who is genuinely passionate behind the counter rather than someone who is clearly overworked. These environments just feel so much better and Iâm so happy Iâve started going to more local coffee shops!
