One min review of the Fekkai Conditioner
Product gifted for free by Fekkai in exchange for my honest review.
I was impressed I didn’t need a ton of this conditioner to coat my hair. That’s not the case with a lot of products on the market. I have thick hair, so I usually need a ton of product. I was impressed by how easily this worked into my hair, and how I didn’t have to repeatedly reach for more to continue coating my hair. The true test of conditioners (at least in my opinion), is how easily does my hair comb out after using it. I often find myself needing post shower oils and creams, but when testing new products I like to see how well a conditioner does the job by itself. And this one did pretty good! The key is combing it through your hair in shower so it properly coats your hair evenly. Then I didn’t have a problem combing it out after my shower with no leave in products (you’d be surprised how tangled my hair can get in just that short transition time depending on the conditioner).
I would say hair fall out was minimal with this line. Since I only applied this from the ear down, I had no issues with it making my roots greasy. I would say that I preferred the hair mask from this line slightly more, because it was even better at smoothing my hair than this conditioner. But this was still one of my favorite conditioners that I’ve tried recently, and I’ve easily tried products from five different brands in the last six months.

Okay, so you've heard some buzz about the Fekkai Super Strength Conditioner, and maybe you're wondering if it's truly worth adding to your routine, especially if you have hair like mine – long, thick, and prone to tangles! After my initial trial, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what makes a conditioner 'super strength' and why this one stood out for me. First off, the 'super strength' aspect isn't just a fancy label. For me, it translated directly into its detangling power and how little product I actually needed. With my hair, I usually have to pump out a huge dollop of conditioner just to feel like it's coated properly. But with Fekkai, a surprisingly small amount worked wonders. I think this is key for anyone with dense or highly textured hair who feels like they're constantly running through bottles. It means better value for money, but more importantly, a more effective and less frustrating wash day. One thing I can't stress enough, which I touched on briefly in my initial review, is the importance of combing your hair in the shower while the conditioner is still in. This is where the magic happens for detangling, especially with a good "detangler" like this one. I use a wide-tooth comb and gently work from ends to roots. It helps distribute the product evenly, ensures every strand gets coated, and significantly reduces breakage compared to trying to comb dry, tangled hair. The Fekkai conditioner really excels here; the comb just glides through, even before rinsing. For those of us with thick hair, a common concern is conditioner weighing it down or making roots greasy. Because this conditioner is so effective with just a small amount, and I apply it mainly from the ears down, I found my roots stayed fresh. If you’re worried about that heavy feeling, start with less and concentrate on your mid-lengths and ends. Another bonus I noticed, confirmed by the OCR, was the 'light sweet (coconut) scent' – it’s really pleasant and not overpowering, which is a huge plus for me as I’m sensitive to strong fragrances. Finally, let's talk about those "fekkai conditioner reviews" you might be seeing. My experience aligns with many positive ones, particularly regarding its efficacy on hair that needs serious help with "combability." While I previously mentioned preferring their hair mask slightly for smoothing, the conditioner is a fantastic daily workhorse. It truly preps your hair, making it manageable and reducing tangles before you even step out of the shower. If you're looking for a conditioner that genuinely delivers on its promise of strength and detangling for thick, long, or difficult-to-manage hair, I'd say this one is definitely worth exploring. It's transformed my "before and after" hair routine for the better!
