Multi surface cleaner by Seventh Generation Review

#complimentary #powerofsvg #clean #householdcleaners #multisurfacecleaner

Product gifted by Influenster and Seventh Generation for free in exchange for my honest review.

This product is the Ultra Deep Multi-surface Cleaner in the Grapefruit and Orange Blossom Scent. I was really impressed by how well it cleaned the multiple surfaces in the kitchen. It got rid of grime and grease on the stovetop, mystery stickiness on the door and oven handles, and worked to battle water scum in my sinks as well. Not having to change cleaner between the surfaces was a nice bonus with this product as well: it worked on countertop, sink, and the stainless steel of our appliances. It is made up of 100% essential oils and botanical ingredients, but the scent was still a little strong for my overly sensitive nose. I found that the scent still made me cough like other traditional surface cleaners, which is why I had to take one star off of my review.

3/20 Edited to

... Read moreI've been on a mission lately to simplify my cleaning routine, and finding products that truly deliver on their 'multi-surface' promise feels like hitting the jackpot. I used to juggle so many different bottles – one for the kitchen, another for the bathroom, a special one for glass... it was a bit overwhelming! That's why I was so keen to put this Seventh Generation Ultra Deep Multi-Surface Cleaner to the ultimate test. My kitchen often becomes a battlefield of grease and sticky spills, especially around the stovetop and microwave. Let's be honest, those handles on the oven and fridge accumulate some mystery gunk over time! I was genuinely impressed by how effortlessly this cleaner cut through the 'greasy stoves' mess and dissolved that sticky buildup. It wasn't just about superficial cleaning; it really felt like it was getting down to the grime, lifting it away without a ton of scrubbing. For anyone dealing with similar kitchen challenges, this cleaner is a serious contender. Moving beyond the kitchen, I also put it to work in the bathroom. The original review mentioned battling 'grimy bathroom' surfaces and 'water scum' in the sink, which resonates perfectly with my experience. While it wasn't a miracle worker on every single tough water stain, it did a very decent job on the everyday water marks and soap residue, leaving surfaces noticeably cleaner. I can imagine it being a real asset for maintaining cleanliness between deeper scrubs, especially for those 'streaky shower doors' – while not a dedicated glass cleaner, its ability to tackle general film and residue is a huge plus for overall bathroom sparkle. One aspect of Seventh Generation that always catches my eye is their commitment to natural and botanical ingredients. Many of us are looking for cleaning solutions that are effective but also kinder to our homes and bodies. While some prefer a pure 'vinegar glass cleaner' for specific tasks due to its natural properties, a multi-surface cleaner like this offers a different kind of convenience. It brings the power of plants to a broader range of messes, without the strong, sometimes off-putting, scent of pure vinegar. It's about finding that balance between efficacy and a more conscious approach to cleaning. Now, a quick but important note for anyone with 'scent sensitivities' – as highlighted in my initial review. The Grapefruit and Orange Blossom scent, while natural, is quite potent. I found myself coughing a bit after use, so I've learned to open windows wide and even wear a mask while cleaning, especially if I'm tackling a larger area. It's a small adjustment for an otherwise powerful product, but definitely something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to fragrances, even natural ones. Ultimately, if you're in the market for an 'all in one cleaner' that can drastically reduce the number of cleaning products under your sink, this Seventh Generation Multi-Surface Cleaner is definitely worth considering. It excels on tough kitchen messes, handles everyday bathroom grime, and offers a more natural cleaning alternative. Just remember to air out your space, especially if you're like me and have a sensitive nose!
