My experience staying at TRYP by Wyndham with their micro room option was surprisingly positive. Despite the room's compact size, the clever layout maximized the space, and the modern, clean décor gave it a boutique hotel vibe that enhanced the overall feel of the stay. What really stood out was how this hotel balances cost savings without compromising quality. The micro room is ideal for travelers like me who spend most of their time exploring the city and just need a cozy, safe place to return to. Being only five minutes from downtown, it's a convenient base to explore attractions, restaurants, and nightlife without dealing with downtown congestion or expensive hotel rates. Parking was a factor I was mindful of, and although valet parking is the only option at a fee of $28 per night, it’s handled through a $70 incidental hold, which is released after checkout. Considering the hotel's prime location, the total cost with parking still felt reasonable compared to staying in downtown hotels with higher base rates.
