จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของแม่ที่เคยส่งลูกเข้าเตรียมอนุบาล ต้องบอกเลยว่ากระบวนการนี้มีทั้งความท้าทายและโอกาสที่ดีมากในการพัฒนาลูก ในช่วงแรก ลูกของเราอาจจะร้องไห้และงอแง เพราะยังไม่คุ้นเคยกับสภาพแวดล้อมใหม่ และยังต้องเรียนรู้วิธีปรับตัว ต้องให้เวลากับเขาในการสื่อสารและทำความรู้จักเพื่อนใหม่ รวมถึงครูผู้ดูแลที่ต้องสร้างความไว้วางใจให้กับเด็กอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป ข้อดีที่เห็นได้ชัดเจนก็คือ ลูกจะได้เรียนรู้การอยู่ร่วมกับผู้อื่น การให้เกียรติและรอคอยตามกติกาที่ถูกวางไว้ในห้องเรียน ช่วยเพิ่มพัฒนาการทางสังคมและอารมณ์ ลูกเริ่มกล้าพูด กล้าทำกิจกรรมต่างๆ มากขึ้น ซึ่งช่วยเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจและความเป็นอิสระภายในตัวเขา แต่ก็ต้องระวังเรื่องสุขภาพ เพราะเด็กเล็กมักจะเจ็บป่วยบ่อยเวลาที่อยู่รวมกับเพื่อนในที่เดียวกัน พ่อแม่ควรเช็กโรงเรียนว่าให้ความสำคัญกับความสะอาดและมีมาตรการป้องกันโรคอย่างไรบ้าง คำแนะนำสำคัญคือ คุณพ่อคุณแม่ควรเลือกสถานที่ที่มีสภาพแวดล้อมและครูที่อบอุ่น เข้าใจพัฒนาการของเด็กในวัยนี้ และที่สำคัญจะต้องฟังเสียงลูกว่าพร้อมหรือยัง และควรเตรียมใจรวมถึงวัคซีนป้องกันโรคให้ลูกอย่างครบถ้วนเพื่อความปลอดภัย สุดท้ายแล้ว ไม่มีคำตอบที่ตายตัวสำหรับทุกครอบครัว ควรเลือกสิ่งที่เหมาะสมและดีที่สุดสำหรับลูกของเรา เพื่อการเติบโตที่มีความสุขและปลอดภัย
