Today, I tried Poppi prebiotic soda for the first time! Normally when I come into work, I have a celsius. But due to my body feeling off, nauseous, bloated and just not feeling good, I thought maybe I should cut back on the caffeine. So I decided to try out Poppi since it has no caffeine and I heard it has some health benefits. Of course I was mesmerized by the pink packaging and the flavor Raspberry Rose sounded so good!!
It wasnโt as fizzy or carbonated as I was expecting but maybe thatโs a good thing! The flavor was light but still really yummy! It almost tastes like the red sour patch kid! And you canโt even taste the apple cider vinegar thatโs in it!
Overall, I would give Poppi a 7/10! Itโs light, yummy, and a great alternative if you need to cut back on caffeine but still need your afternoon fun drink! @Poppi
... Read moreOkay, so diving a little deeper into my Poppi Raspberry Rose experience! You know how sometimes you just feel... off? That's exactly where I was. My usual Celsius was just making me feel more nauseous and bloated, so I knew I needed a change. That's why I reached for this beautiful pink Poppi Raspberry Rose prebiotic soda can. The packaging itself is a vibe, with those lovely red floral designs, and it clearly states '4g Sugar' right there, which is a huge plus if you're watching your intake like I am.
What really intrigued me, beyond the pretty looks, was the 'prebiotic' aspect and the promise of a 'drink for gut health'. I've been hearing a lot about gut health lately and its connection to overall well-being. Prebiotics are essentially food for the good bacteria in your gut, helping them thrive. When your gut flora is balanced, it can positively impact everything from digestion to mood. Poppi cleverly includes apple cider vinegar (ACV) in its formulation, which is known for its gut-friendly properties, but honestly, you can't taste it at all in the Raspberry Rose flavor โ which was a huge relief! This makes it a super accessible way to get some of those benefits without the harsh ACV taste.
Let's talk more about the taste and experience. My initial thought was that it tasted like a red sour patch kid, which is still true, but there's also a subtle, elegant rose note that comes through, especially as it warms up a tiny bit. Itโs not overly sweet or artificial, which I appreciate. The carbonation is definitely lighter than a traditional soda, which some might find less satisfying, but for me, it was actually perfect. It felt less aggressive on my sensitive stomach, unlike those super fizzy drinks that can make bloating worse. This lighter fizz paired with the refreshing flavor makes it a fantastic afternoon pick-me-up that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down.
One of the biggest wins for me, as someone trying to cut back on caffeine, is that this Poppi Raspberry Rose soda is completely caffeine-free. It gives you that satisfying 'soda' experience without the jitters or the subsequent crash. If you're looking for a soda alternative that supports your gut and helps you break up with your daily caffeine habit, this could be your new go-to. Itโs an ideal swap for that 3 PM energy drink or even an evening mocktail.
After trying the Raspberry Rose, I'm definitely curious about other Poppi flavors. I've seen a whole poppi prebiotic soda cans assortment out there, and I'm wondering if any of them hit that same sweet spot. It makes me think about doing a comparison review of a few different flavors to see how they stack up. Overall, my Poppi Raspberry Rose review stands at a solid 7/10. Itโs a delicious, health-conscious choice that feels like a treat without the guilt. If you're on the fence about trying it, especially if you're dealing with similar stomach issues or just want a healthier drink option, I'd say go for it!
