Daxi is now halal-certified with a new menu!

DaXi recently refreshed their menu and I finally checked out this halal-certified Taiwanese restaurant at their Plaza Singapura outlet.

The stars of the show were definitely their plump, juicy, freshly handmade Signature Dumplings bursting with flavour, alongside a lineup of comforting Taiwanese classics.

We had:

Spicy Chilli Oil Chicken Dumpling $11.80

Pan-Fried Snow Skin Chicken Dumplings $11.80

Shredded Chicken Cordyceps Soup Noodles $13.80

Braised Beef Scrambled Egg Rice $14.80

Combo Egg Crepe $8.80

Lychee Aiyu Jelly $5.80

Yuzu Sour Plum with Aiyu Jelly $6.90

Cucumber Ginger Ale with Aloe Vera $5.90

Okinawa Sugar Boba Soya Milk $6.90

Besides the meaty dumplings in chilli oil and those with pretty lace, we also enjoyed the light and nourishing soup noodles — perfect when you’re craving something clean or a comforting soupy meal. The egg crepe was another yummy side to share. We ended our meal with a chilled, fruity dessert, and their refreshing drinks were the perfect way to wash everything down.

DaXi 大喜 - Plaza Singapura

... Read moreIf you’re wondering about halal food options at Plaza Singapura, DaXi 大喜 is definitely a standout choice that I’m excited to recommend. From my recent visit, I found their menu thoughtfully crafted to offer a variety of Taiwanese dishes without compromising on halal certification. The dumplings, like the Spicy Chilli Oil Chicken Dumplings and Pan-Fried Snow Skin Chicken Dumplings, were a highlight – juicy, fresh, and packed with flavour. I also appreciated the comforting soup noodle option, the Shredded Chicken Cordyceps Soup Noodles, which was light yet satisfying, making it ideal if you’re craving something nourishing and clean. The combo egg crepe added a nice texture contrast to the meal, and the Okinawa Sugar Boba Soya Milk was a great choice to complement the overall dining experience. For those visiting Plaza Singapura and seeking halal Taiwanese cuisine, DaXi is a reliable spot with a cozy atmosphere. Their certification and quality make it perfect for family meals or catching up with friends over dishes that are authentic and halal. The location at B1-08 is easy to find and offers a nice escape to enjoy Taiwanese flavors without worry about dietary restrictions. Overall, DaXi’s new menu refresh impressed me – it’s flavorful, diverse, and most importantly halal-certified, addressing the needs of Muslim diners in Singapore effectively. If you love noodles, dumplings, and Taiwanese classics, this place is worth checking out!
