I was so full from this meal!
We were so well-fed by the team at @fivenines_official , a new izakaya by Shunsui Group that blends Japanese and Western influences.
As part of their launch promotion, they are offering a 7-course dinner at $99++ (U.P. $122++), complete with free-flow drinks and premium ingredients such as uni, ikura, lobster, and wagyu. Best of all, you can customise the menu to suit your preferences.
Every course impresses us! From beautifully plated appetisers to the comforting and warm onion gratin soup beneath a golden puff pastry crust. The taco was generously filled and packed with flavour, and gloves were provided so we could dig in without the mess.
We were already getting full before the mains arrived, but the whole lobster gratin was rich, creamy, and hard to resist. Another highlight was the Wagyu Rossini steak topped with foie gras and pasta was very well executed too. Dessert of the day was a delicious coffee pudding!
If you are after a great meal with warm hospitality, this launch promotion is worth checking out. Just be sure to arrive hungry so you can enjoy every course to the fullest!

Dining at Five Nines truly exceeded my expectations, especially with their innovative blend of Japanese and Western cuisine. The 7-course dinner is perfectly paced, allowing you to savor each dish without feeling rushed. I remember starting with the Hyogo oyster topped with uni and ikura, which set a fresh and indulgent tone for the meal. One tip is to arrive hungry and ready to enjoy every course, especially the "Get Messy" tacos – the garlic shrimp tacos were bursting with flavor, and having gloves made it a fun experience to dig in. The onion gratin soup en croute kept the comfort level high with its golden, flaky puff pastry crust. The highlight for me was definitely the whole lobster gratin; its rich, creamy texture was unforgettable. Pairing it with the Wagyu Rossini steak topped with foie gras made the meal feel ultra-special and satisfying. Their pasta, garlic and tomato spaghetti, offered a nice balance without overpowering the heavier dishes. The free-flow drinks, including sake, wine, and draft beers, made the evening more festive. For dessert, the coffee pudding was a smooth and delightful finish that left me content but not overly full. If you’re looking for a sophisticated dining experience in Singapore that offers value and variety, Five Nines' launch promotion is well worth checking out. The option to customize your meal means you can tailor it to your preferences, making it perfect for food lovers eager to try premium Japanese-Western fusion dishes in a cozy izakaya setting.
