Travel Asia Without Leaving LA
Los Angeles has such a diverse culture with bits and pieces of the immigrants that have made it great. Here are a few places I’ve been to that will make you feel like you’re in Asia:
1.Matcha at Archives Of Us
This spot is nestled in Chinatown and instantly reminded me of a Korean cafe. Clean, edgy, minimalistic, and hints of futurism. The matcha was so creamy and delicious, not too sweet.
2. POP MART
As the popularity strengthens here, more stores are opening up! Pop Mart originated in China and blew up all around Asia years before it reached here. We are lucky to have so many in LA!
3.Taiwanese Food at Liu's Cafe
Step into a Taiwanese Cafe where they serve some authentic dishes that made me reminisce about Taiwan. The best part is the affordability as well!
4.Kinokuniya Bookstore - Santa Anita
Stationary, manga, a giant Gundam statue, sonny angels, they have it all! Although I wouldn’t mind paying 700 for a flight to get all this stuff for slightly cheaper, this comes as a close second (;
