This time last year ...
This time last year I felt like I had failed at my weight loss journey, and honestly, at most of the goals I had set for myself.
I was exhausted…
Trying to shift my mindset and become stronger from the inside out... rooted in healing.
But quietly, I was crying, because I hadn’t come close to where I wanted to be.
If I’m being honest... it had been years of starting over.
Years of wondering why I couldn’t seem to get it right.
What I see now is this:
I wasn’t failing.
I was healing.
I was slowly picking myself up, rebuilding my strength.
I was becoming the woman I had been dreaming of, even when I didn’t realize it yet!
I survived setbacks.
I rebuilt myself more times than I can count.
And somehow… I kept going!
This year was different.
2025 wasn’t easy, but it changed me.
I found her again…
The version of me who’s strong, grounded, and quietly powerful.
The version who doesn’t crumble when life pushes back... she rises!
I can’t point to one specific moment where everything shifted.
But I know, deep in my bones… it did.
And as we step into 2026, I want you to hear this:
You made it through this year.
That matters more than you know.
Even if it doesn’t feel like a win yet... it is.
You’re still here.
Still trying.
Still becoming.
In just 4 days, we begin 365 days of becoming everything you’ve been quietly dreaming of.
This is what healing, mindset shifts, and real transformation can look like for women over 50... especially when you refuse to give up on yourself!
So let’s do this together.
Write down your dreams.
Claim them.
Believe again.
I’m right here beside you, and we’re checking them off one by one.
✨ Your dreams are waiting for you. ✨
If this spoke to you, comment “I’m ready” or share it with a woman who needs this reminder today. 🤍
Reflecting on my own journey with weight loss and personal transformation, I've realized that true progress often comes from embracing the healing process rather than an immediate success. Like many women over 50, I struggled not just with physical changes but with shifting my mindset to foster long-term wellness. One key to this healing was understanding that setbacks are not failures but opportunities to learn and rebuild stronger. The phrase "This is my weight loss journey" truly resonates because it encompasses all the ups and downs, the quiet tears, the moments of self-doubt, and the power found in persistence. For me, self-compassion became pivotal. Instead of harsh judgments when the scale didn't budge, I focused on nourishing my body and mind. Small, consistent changes—like daily walks, mindful eating, and positive affirmations—helped me reconnect with myself. Healing wasn’t linear; some days felt like starting over, but each attempt brought renewed strength. Another critical aspect was the community of like-minded women over 50 who shared experiences, encouragement, and motivation. This support system reminded me that transformation is not just about losing weight but about gaining confidence, peace, and empowerment. As we step into 2026, I encourage anyone on a similar path to write down your dreams and hold them close. Believe in the quiet power within you. It’s not about perfection but progress and growth. Healing, mindset shifts, and resilience can redefine what success looks like in any journey—especially one as personal and profound as reclaiming health and self-love after 50.
