I finally sat through Wicked and… yeah, I don’t get the hype. I’d heard the songs forever because it’s such a famous musical, but never saw it live until now. If the movie really sticks to this story, I’m glad I skipped the stage version. The whole “green outcast” thing just doesn’t land for me.
