I’m not familiar with the book or musical, just with the original Wizard of Oz. I keep hearing that people really enjoyed the movie, do you think it would still be enjoyable if I’ve never seen the musical it’s based on? I’ve seen people saying you have to see the musical first idk

this movie was amazing ! i have always been a musical theater fangirl as well as an ariana grande lover. i had very high expectations for this movie and as expected, my expectations were met ! this is an emotional movie that will have you giggling at silly jokes and then crying at heartfelt scenes.
