การไปเยี่ยมนิทรรศน์รัตนโกสินทร์เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ทำให้ผมรู้สึกเหมือนได้ย้อนเวลากลับไปสำรวจยุคสมัยต่าง ๆ ของกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์อย่างลึกซึ้งและมีชีวิตชีวา หัวใจสำคัญของการเยี่ยมชมนั้นคือเจ้าหน้าที่นำชมที่ให้ข้อมูลละเอียดและเปิดโอกาสให้เราได้ถามคำถาม ทำให้การเดินชมไม่น่าเบื่อและช่วยให้เข้าใจเรื่องราวได้ชัดเจนมากขึ้น นิทรรศน์แบ่งเป็นสองเส้นทางที่ใช้เวลาชมเส้นทางละประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมง ซึ่งแต่ละเส้นทางมีการนำเสนอเรื่องราวต่าง ๆ ทั้งการเมือง การปกครอง ศิลปะ ประเพณี และวิถีชีวิตไทยที่น่าสนใจ สำหรับคนที่อยากได้ภาพสวย ๆ ก็ไม่ต้องกังวล เพราะมีมุมถ่ายรูปเยอะมากที่ตกแต่งอย่างพิถีพิถันตามสไตล์ไทย ๆ ที่แฝงความทันสมัย โดยส่วนตัวผมชอบที่มีการจัดแสดงเทคนิคการประดับกระเบื้องในสถาปัตยกรรมที่ผสมผสานศิลปะจีนเข้ากับวัฒนธรรมไทย ซึ่งเป็นรายละเอียดที่ไม่ค่อยเห็นในนิทรรศการทั่วไป นอกจากนี้การจำลองบริเวณพระบรมมหาราชวังและการแสดงเกี่ยวกับช้างเผือกประจํารัชกาลที่ 9 ก็เพิ่มมุมมองความรู้สึกภูมิใจในอดีตชาติไทยได้ดี ถ้าใครมีเวลาควรเดินทั้งสองเส้นทางเพื่อชมภาพรวม สุดท้ายอย่าลืมแวะร้านกาแฟภายในนิทรรศน์เพื่อผ่อนคลาย พร้อมชมการแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยในวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์ด้วย ช่วยเติมเต็มประสบการณ์ให้นิทรรศน์รัตนโกสินทร์เป็นสถานที่ที่เหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับวันเดย์ทริปที่ทั้งสนุกและได้ความรู้ลึกซึ้งเกี่ยวกับรากเหง้าวัฒนธรรมของไทยอย่างแท้จริง
