Understanding Our Hormones: Testosterone

Today we’re talking about a hormone that’s often misunderstood: testosterone.

Although it’s usually associated with men, women need testosterone too, and it has a huge impact on how we feel day-to-day. From our energy and mood to libido, strength, focus, and overall vitality, this hormone quietly supports so many aspects of our wellbeing.

When testosterone levels shift, whether they drop too low or rise too high, our bodies often give us signs.

Understanding those signals helps us recognise what’s really going on rather than blaming ourselves for feeling “off.”

This series is all about giving you the knowledge to make sense of your body, feel more in tune with your symptoms, and know when something might deserve a closer look.

Knowledge is power, and the more we understand our hormones, the more empowered we become to support our health.
