Not loving pretend play doesn’t make you a bad mom

This one took me a long time to believe. I love my kids, and I love being with them. But sitting on the floor, doing characters, voices and imaginary rules on repeat? That part is hard for me.

What I am learning is that connection doesn’t have one right look and it doesn’t mean you’re failing if it’s hard.

Read the full blog, Lincoln bio where we talk more about guilt, connection, and why it doesn’t all have to look the same.
