On the way from the parking lot to the shrine, I passed under the track of Jomo Electric Railway. It was like the world of Spirited Away.
Right behind the main hall is a powerful lion head.
It is also a symbol of Yamana Hachimangu Shrine.

私が山名八幡宮を訪れた際、まず目を引いたのは駐車場から社殿へ続く道で上信電鉄の線路の下をくぐる瞬間でした。まるで「千と千尋の神隠し」の世界に迷い込んだような不思議な感覚に包まれ、旅の期待が高まりました。 山名八幡宮は安産や子育ての神様として地元の方々に親しまれており、私もお参りした際には特に心が温かくなるのを感じました。加えて、境内はグッドデザイン賞を受賞しているだけあり、伝統的な神社の風格とモダンなセンスが絶妙に融合しています。散策するだけでも心地よく、写真映えするスポットが多いことも嬉しいポイントです。 また、本殿の真裏に位置する迫力ある獅子頭の「裏神様」も必見です。通常の拝殿での参拝に加え、裏神様にもお参りするとさらなる良いご利益を授かれると聞き、私も敬意を込めてお参りしました。実際のところ、その後の運気が少しずつ良くなっているように感じています。 山名八幡宮は御朱印も受けられるため、神社巡りを趣味にしている人にもおすすめです。群馬県の高崎地域を訪れた際には、ぜひこのユニークな電車と神社の融合を体験し、パワースポットとしての魅力を感じてみてください。自然と調和した洗練された空間は、忙しい日常を忘れさせてくれる貴重な癒やしの場になるでしょう。
