In 10 days I’ll be 33 years old. Not sure what I’m doing for my birthday, however, I’m truly grateful that I get a chance to see it. So much growth has happened, I’m grateful for my own space again while embracing isolation because once a family comes, ain’t no more alone time for hours.
I plan on healing my thoughts on validation and who I need it from, I plan on taking my health seriously which means I’ll need to cook more, pray for me. Lol, I also need to increase my credit score and get a handle on my debt.
I would love a trip next year but that’s up to God. However, I’m planning for A Seat at the Table and volunteering at Epic.
Thank you 32nd year, you challenged me, provoked me, and had me out here looking all kinds of crazy but I appreciate you. Hello, 33rd year, may you pick up where last year left off and do so much more. May we continue to unlearn old habits and learn new patterns.
Who else is a December baby, drop the dates. Who else is 33 and how is it going? Who else is 32 turning 33 and are you ready or excited? Let me know!

It’s more than just another year; it truly feels like a significant milestone, a moment to pause and appreciate the journey so far while excitedly planning for what's ahead. Many people ask, 'Is 33 a big birthday?' For me, absolutely! It’s a point where you often gain a clearer perspective on who you are, what you want, and what truly matters. For a 33 year old woman, this age often brings a unique blend of wisdom and renewed energy, where you feel more comfortable in your skin and clearer about your path than ever before. It's a time for honest self-assessment, letting go of what no longer serves you, and embracing the wisdom you've accumulated.
This past year, like any other, brought its share of challenges and revelations. I've learned that growth often happens in uncomfortable spaces, and sometimes, looking 'all kinds of crazy' is just part of the beautiful process of becoming. It's about unlearning old patterns that held me back and consciously choosing to cultivate new, healthier habits. For instance, focusing on my health isn't just about diet or exercise; it's about nourishing my mind and spirit too. Learning to cook more is a practical step, but it’s also an act of self-care and control over what I put into my body.
Financial wellness is another huge area of focus as I step into my 33rd year. Tackling debt and boosting my credit score feels like laying a stronger foundation for the future – it's about freedom and possibilities. These aren't just tasks; they're commitments to a more secure and joyful life, allowing for dreams like that trip next year to become a reality.
Beyond personal development, I’m also thinking about how to make this 'chapter 33 birthday' truly memorable. While a big trip might be a dream for next year, there are so many ways to mark this special time. What about planning a small, intimate gathering with loved ones, or perhaps a weekend getaway focused purely on relaxation and reflection? Consider creating a '33 things to do before 34' list – it could be anything from trying a new hobby to volunteering for a cause close to your heart, or even just dedicating more time to reading and quiet contemplation. For me, volunteering at Epic and planning for 'A Seat at the Table' are ways I want to give back and engage with my community, adding deeper meaning to my birthday celebrations. Many beautiful 33rd birthday quotes speak to beginnings and wisdom, and I feel that deeply this year.
The idea of being 'IN MY BIRTHDAY ERA' isn't just a fun phrase; it's a mindset. It's about consciously stepping into this new phase with intention and excitement, much like the vibrant, retro-style text with pink butterflies on that graphic I loved. It’s about celebrating not just the day itself, but the person you've become and the person you're striving to be. If you’re also turning 33, or have recently, I'd love to hear your reflections! What insights have you gained? What new goals are you setting for yourself? Let's make this 33rd year unforgettable, filled with purpose, joy, and continued growth.
