From the book, the light of the world is on the book is speaking about hypocrisy in the church, for your information, the book not published yet.

Theme: i’ve been rejected by people that call themselves five folders bishops and ministers i been invited to ministry meetings and then walked to the door for quoting scripture. In context years later i know why the people that do these things are the modern day Pharisees sad.

Luke 10:16

Then he said to the disciples, “Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me.”

Conclusion.

Acronym: for pride. People, rid, it, don’t, entertain.

Sad story time.

The Pharisees' primary spiritual problem was self-righteousness and hypocrisy, leading to pride and a distorted view of God's will. They emphasized outward displays of piety and strict adherence to human traditions, masking inner corruption and a lack of true love and humility towards God and others. This spiritual blindness prevented them from recognizing God's work in Jesus Christ, leading them to reject the true gospel of grace in favor of their own performance-based path to salvation.

Key Aspects of Their Spiritual Problem

Pride and Self-Righteousness:

The Pharisees were self-reliant and proud of their perceived superior righteousness, believing their own works could earn God's favor.

Focus on External Religion:

They prioritized outward appearances and strict adherence to human traditions and rituals, cleaning the outside of the cup but ignoring the corrupt "inside" of their hearts.

Spiritual Blindness:

Their pride and fixation on their own righteousness blinded them to the true spiritual reality unfolding before them, particularly in the ministry of Jesus.

Lack of True Heart Transformation:

Their actions were not driven by genuine love for God but by a desire to be seen by others, leading to a disconnect between their actions and their inner disposition.

Rejection of God's Grace:

Because they thought they could achieve salvation through their own efforts, they could not accept Jesus as their Savior and were unable to relate to God's plan for delivering people from sin.

Hypocrisy:

Their outward religious performance was a stark contrast to their inner corruptions of greed and self-indulgence, making them hypocrites in Jesus' eyes.

Judgmentalism:

They tended to judge others harshly while excusing their own faults, failing to see their own sin through the lens of God's grace and mercy.

In essence, the Pharisees had a formulaic, legalistic approach to faith, valuing their own rules and traditions over God's heart and commands, and were unwilling to repent and rely on God's saving work.

... Read moreIn today’s spiritual journey, many believers face challenges similar to those described in the commentary on the Pharisees' hypocrisy. The experience of rejection by church leaders who identify as bishops or ministers demonstrates a modern parallel to the ancient Pharisees’ focus on outward appearances instead of heart transformation. This disconnect between outward religious performance and inner faithfulness often leads to a spiritually shallow community. The acronyms and examples provided, such as PRIDE—"People Rid It Don’t Entertain"—highlight the personal attitude shifts needed to overcome spiritual arrogance. The Pharisees’ emphasis on rules over grace ultimately led to judgmentalism and missed recognition of the Messiah’s work. Likewise, many today struggle when faith institutions prioritize human traditions over the transformative power of God’s Word. Luke 10:16 underscores the deep connection between accepting God’s messengers and accepting God Himself. This passage reminds readers that rejection of truth-bearing individuals equates to rejecting divine guidance. It calls for personal reflection on how believers respond to scripture and those who teach it. Truth applied with humility fosters authentic community instead of exclusion or condemnation. The upcoming book, "The Light of the World is On," aims to navigate readers away from spiritual deception by encouraging obedience and genuine faith. It promotes living with integrity and joy, free from pretense and double-mindedness. Readers are invited to embrace biblical insights alongside Spirit-led encouragement, helping them experience personal transformation through faith. Furthermore, authentic community life involves recognizing that acts of faith are meant to flow from inner love for God, not performative displays. Overcoming hypocrisy requires self-examination, a willingness to repent, and reliance on grace rather than self-righteous efforts. As believers seek to walk in the light of Christ, practical teachings can guide them toward freedom from spiritual shadows and into a life reflecting God’s love in a complex world. By understanding the spiritual pitfalls of the Pharisees, modern believers can avoid similar errors—prioritizing heart change over external rituals, fostering grace-filled judgment rather than harsh criticism, and welcoming God’s saving work beyond human traditions. This approach nurtures vibrant faith communities marked by humility, love, and genuine transformation.
