Thought.
Today is the day of salvation every precious lost soul need salvation now when the Lord repeats Himself, He rarely does so just to hear His own voice. Instead, it is usually His way of breaking through our forgetfulness, cementing a vital lesson in our spiritual hearts our mind or trying to grab our full attention for an upcoming shift in our lives
The prophet Isaiah discussed salvation throughout his ministry between approximately 740 and 681 BC. His writings are widely categorized into two main eras of his prophetic work:
Isaiah 12:2-3
See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”
Apostle Paul quot Isaiah.
Isaiah 49:8
This is what the LORD says: “At just the right time, I will respond to you. On the day of salvation I will help you. I will protect you and give you to the people as my covenant with them. Through you I will reestablish the land of Israel and assign it to its own people again.
Old Testament Prophecy: The quote originates from Isaiah, where God promises to hear His people and help them during their return from Babylonian exile. It paints a picture of a newly opened window of opportunity.
New Testament Fulfillment: Paul applies this to the "New Covenant" era. He argues that through Jesus Christ, the ultimate "day of salvation" has arrived for both Jews and Gentiles.
2 Corinthians 6:2
For God says,
“At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.”[a]
Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
Divine talk.
Salvation is the foundational belief that humanity is rescued by God from the eternal consequences of sin. It is centered on the belief that Jesus Christ—through his sacrificial death and resurrection—paid the penalty for humanity's sins. Christians believe that salvation is a free gift from God's grace, received through faith and repentance rather than by earning it through good works. It encompasses both present spiritual transformation and the promise of eternal life in God's presence.
Galatians 3:13
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”[a]
Ephesians 2:8-9
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
