My new year resolution was to focus on self care, health & wellness and doing things for myself that bring inner peace & make me happy. I want to be more intentional in my daily routine from the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep and stick to a schedule. I’m starting this series to hold myself accountable and give a little inspo along the way. We’re gonna get stronger physically, mentally and emotionally!!! Here’s to 2025.

Starting a new wellness journey, especially at the beginning of a new year like 2025, always feels exciting but can also be a bit daunting. When I decided to launch my 'Healthy Hustle Diaries,' my biggest goal was to make wellness feel less like a chore and more like an integral, joyful part of my daily life. It’s not just about grand gestures; it's about those small, consistent steps that add up to big changes. For me, it all begins with how I kick off my day, which often means an early start, like my 5:30 AM morning routine. That 5:30 AM mark isn't just a random time; it's when I claim my morning back. Instead of immediately grabbing my phone, I focus on hydration – a big glass of water with lemon is my go-to. This simple act signals to my body that it's time to wake up gently. Then, I dedicate a few minutes to quiet reflection or journaling. It's amazing how much clarity and peace I gain by simply writing down my thoughts or setting my intentions for the day before the world fully wakes up. By 6:10 AM, I'm usually moving into some light stretching or preparing a quick, nourishing breakfast. The OCR notes 'WORKOUT AT 7:15 AM!' and that's a cornerstone of my physical wellness. Whether it's a brisk walk, a home workout, or hitting the gym, moving my body early makes a huge difference to my energy levels and mood for the rest of the day. It’s not about pushing myself to exhaustion, but about consistent, joyful movement. But 'wellness' isn't just about what happens in the gym. It's also deeply rooted in mental and emotional strength. For mental well-being, I’ve found that listening to inspiring podcasts or audiobooks during my commute or while doing chores, helps nourish my mind. And emotionally, it’s about setting boundaries, practicing gratitude, and allowing myself grace on days when things don't go perfectly. My 'Healthy Hustle Diaries' are exactly for those moments – to celebrate the wins and learn from the challenges. This intentional approach extends beyond morning, guiding my choices throughout the day, from what I eat to how I manage my time. It's a continuous process of learning what works best for *me*. If you're looking to start your own healthy lifestyle, remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. Find routines that energize you, surround yourself with positive influences, and most importantly, be kind to yourself. This journey is about progress, not perfection.
