One last try!

Here we go .. I know we all heard the extras of “Starting over again” and “Back at it” but this time I am giving life and loving myself one last try.. Only this time I am not giving up and understanding that I didn’t gain this weight over night but, also knowing it won’t be lost in a night either. Been on a calorie deficit and cut sugar and unhealthy snacks, incorporating vitamins and supplements, walking at least 30 mins a day on the treadmill on a 3% incline, and that’s just the start! You may not see the difference but, I do. But, I also feel a difference in the way I feel and act. I started hating myself again because I was doing so well and then I gave into temptation and ended up back at square one .. Well these pictures are me showing vulnerability and also pride that I am taking myself seriously! Starting one and a half weeks ago I pushed myself out of bed and realized that I am better than this and started analyzing myself, this is my motivation.. I am tired of looking in the mirror and hating how I look and feel but, I know I can do it and proof shows it! Here we go again. And this is my final starting over phase and hello to my continuous push to better myself and do better! I am getting up and closing my circles again and pushing myself to do better than yesterday 🙌🏼 I am officially 7lbs down and counting! Countdown until my goal weight of 180! Wish me luck 🍀 #bodytransformation #embracevulnerability #unfiltered #progressnotperfect

... Read moreEmbarking on a personal weight loss and self-love journey requires resilience, patience, and consistent effort. This transformation highlights the importance of understanding that weight gain and loss are gradual processes, and sustainable changes come through mindful lifestyle adjustments rather than quick fixes. Key strategies include maintaining a calorie deficit, which involves consuming fewer calories than the body burns, thereby promoting fat loss. Cutting out sugar and unhealthy snacks helps to reduce empty calorie intake, improving overall nutritional quality. Incorporating vitamins and supplements can support bodily functions and ensure the body receives essential nutrients, especially when diet alone might fall short. Daily physical activity, such as walking on a treadmill at a moderate incline for at least 30 minutes, not only burns calories but also boosts cardiovascular health and improves mood. This simple exercise routine is effective for people at various fitness levels and encourages the formation of lasting healthy habits. Mental and emotional well-being play a crucial role in any weight loss attempt. Feelings of self-doubt or setbacks, like giving in to temptation, are common but can be overcome by embracing vulnerability and self-compassion. Sharing progress openly and tracking weight changes, like being 7 lbs down so far, helps maintain motivation. Setting realistic goals, such as aiming for a specific target weight (e.g., 180 lbs), provides direction and a sense of achievement. Closing activity rings or tracking daily movement, as mentioned, encourages continual effort and improvement. Ultimately, this journey underscores that success is not just measured by physical changes but by improved self-esteem, healthier habits, and a sustainable commitment to well-being. Pushing to do better than yesterday fosters continuous growth, making "one last try" a powerful declaration of hope and determination.
