I’m grateful for my treatments and products that enable me to live my life more fully than I could without them. ❤️‍🩹 what treatments, interventions, and products help you live your life more fully?

... Read moreLiving with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) often involves navigating a complex array of symptoms that affect mobility, pain levels, autonomic function, and overall wellbeing. From my personal experience, integrating specific medical interventions and products has made a significant difference in managing this condition and enhancing daily life quality. One cornerstone of effective management is addressing Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), which often co-occurs with hEDS. IV fluids are a vital treatment to maintain hydration and stabilize blood pressure, preventing debilitating dizziness and fainting episodes. Mobility aids are equally important; they help compensate for muscle weakness, dystonia, and joint instability, enabling better independence and reducing injury risk. For overactive bladder and Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD), a sacral nerve stimulator has been a game-changer, offering symptom relief where medications alone fell short. In chronic urticaria and eczema, tailored biologic injections such as Xolair and Ebglyss provide targeted immune modulation to reduce flare-ups and improve skin comfort. Neurological symptoms like dystonia respond well to treatments such as Carbidopa Levodopa, which helps control involuntary muscle contractions and improves motor function. Additionally, multidisciplinary pain management with medical therapies targeting pain, nausea, anxiety, insomnia, and appetite helps address multiple symptoms simultaneously, enhancing overall quality of life. For pelvic congestion syndrome and PGAD, innovative vascular procedures like ovarian vein embolization and internal iliac vein ligation have helped mitigate chronic pelvic pain and vascular symptoms that severely impact daily activities. Similarly, lower back radiofrequency ablations (RFAs) provide focal pain relief for facet arthritis, spondylosis, and degenerative disc disease, which are common sources of chronic back pain in hEDS. Integrating these diverse medical strategies creates a comprehensive approach that allows individuals with hEDS to live fuller, more active lives despite the challenges posed by their condition. For anyone navigating similar symptoms, consulting with specialists and exploring these treatments can be key steps toward improved health and independence. I encourage others managing chronic multisystem conditions like hEDS to share the interventions and products that empower their wellbeing. This exchange of authentic, lived experiences helps build a supportive community and guides others toward effective solutions tailored to their unique needs.

Hey I absolutely love your content😍!! How did you go about getting IV fluids? I asked my cardiologist about it and he told me he had never heard of that. Please feel free to DM me I would love to hear from you and see if you could help me with that and one or two other questions.

things I’m grateful for this week!
Sometimes at the end of the week I like making a cutie little list of things I’m grateful for to remind me of God’s goodness even during the weeks that may seem uneventful or just another week. Our God is so good and his blessings are always all around us. TYJ! #faith #christian #christ
