As my docs say, those of us with POTS have fussy hearts. 😭 POTS is a type of Dysautonomia (dysfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System) that affects heart rate, as well as many more functions and systems throughout the body.

Chronic illness isn’t something you can just turn off when things are hard… it’s there on our brightest days, and it’s there on our darkest days. We are not burdens for being chronically ill. But, boy, do we carry one heavy burden all the time. ❤️‍🩹

Watermelon is my favorite in the summer! 🥰 You still have to drink water! And eat other foods too! I hope that goes without saying. Watermelon is a useful hydration supplement. ❤️‍🩹

The higher the setting, the more intense the zap is. 😭 (and I’m on a relatively low setting..) such an unpleasant experience. I love my sacral nerve stimulator. It really helps… but, adjusting the setting and zapping myself is not fun.
