Rest is part of the plan, not the problem
There was a time I thought rest meant I was falling behind. That if I wasn’t constantly producing, posting, improving, or pushing, I was failing. But healing taught me something different — rest is not weakness, it’s recalibration.
Your body remembers everything your mind tries to ignore. Burnout, stress, grief, pressure… it all lives somewhere inside you. And when your energy disappears, it’s not because you’re lazy — it’s because you’ve been strong for too long without pause.
So if today looks like slow mornings, cancelled plans, or choosing comfort over chaos, let it. You are allowed to rest without guilt. You are allowed to move at the pace your body asks for. Progress doesn’t disappear just because you stopped rushing.
