Medical Coding is a great career. If you decide to take a coding course, make sure it prepares you for an exam from either AAPC or AHIMA because those are the only 2 organizations that employers accept certifications from. I’m not going to school for medical coding per say, I’m going for my AAS in Medical Administrative Assistant. We are currently learning Basic Diagnosis Coding Systems with the 2024 ICD-10-CM. Any tips or suggestions? I’d greatly appreciate it. Just finished the first week of eight week course and I already feel unsure
