Cause

1. Link with "Shopee Video"

Notice the top of the picture. It says "Live and Video."

• Cause: Even if you have never been to Live, if you have ever posted a short video clip (Shopee Video) or uploaded a product video, then the video is against the rules (such as pirated products, prohibited products, other logos, or licensed music), the system may ban the entire group of features, both Live and Video simultaneously.

2. Account irregularities or KYC identity confirmation information

• Cause: Shopee's AI system may detect certain risks, such as an account not fully verified, a store name or profile photo looks like spam, or is associated with another account that was previously banned (e.g. using the same phone number, account number, or device as someone who was banned).

• Results: The system then pre-empts some features for safety.

3. Account Health

• Cause: If your store has a very low conduct rating or has a violation of the rules for selling products (e.g. selling fake items, sending items so slowly that they are cut), Shopee may punish you with withholding access to marketing tools including Live.

4. System Glitch / False Positive

• Cause: The AI system misdetects, which happens often. The system may misunderstand that your behavior is suspicious.
