Infertility and Loss
I knew I wanted a big family but with how expensive things are in life. I said 4 kids would be amazing. We already have 3 kids. 7 total losses after this one.
On Aug 5, I found out I was expecting, in shock I started thinking and planning for what would of been our final baby. I had baby announcements in mind, I had names in mind and I started getting excited. I prayed every night for this little peanut to stick and I prayed for a healthy baby. I had a lot going on and with my Disney vacation coming up I was simply praying for the best.
On Aug 17th, my little family flew off to Florida and on Sunday August 18th I started bleeding. I instantly knew I was having a miscarriage but at the worst time ever. I was pretty sad because I was giving my kids a dream vacation and yet I was going through something so personal.
On Wednesday Aug 21, we were out shopping and while at the store, I had a huge gush that leaked from my underwear and pad and down my legs. I ran to the bathroom and that’s where I had passed everything. Worst time right? Thankfully we were at the store and I was able to get new shorts and pads to get my back to the Airbnb.
I don’t think this is a miscarriage I will ever be able to just forget about. A magical family vacation and a miscarriage combine. My kids will never know the pain I went through to keep a smile on their face. I left on my vacation pregnant and I came back from my vacation not pregnant. #summerdiary #lemon8contest
