No soy intensa ni controladora… y en la maternidad menos 😅 He entendido que soltar también es parte del proceso.

Letting go in motherhood is often easier said than done, but it's an essential part of embracing the real, imperfect journey of raising children. From personal experience, I found that trusting loved ones to care for my baby, like grandparents, can be a true blessing. It allowed me to take time for self-care such as going to the hairdresser or doing errands without feeling overwhelmed by constant responsibility. Initially, it was challenging to leave my baby alone with others since I was used to being the primary caregiver. However, I realized that others, especially experienced family members, often bring valuable support and wisdom. This balance helps not only the child but also the mother’s mental and emotional well-being. In my case, the grandmother’s involvement brought a sense of security and relief, letting me focus on maintaining a healthy relationship and managing motherhood with less stress. This approach fosters a nurturing environment where we all grow—children gain diverse bonds, and parents recharge to meet the demands of parenting better. Ultimately, motherhood is not about being controlling or intense; it's about learning when to hold on and when to let go. Accepting help, sharing responsibilities, and prioritizing self-care are key to thriving during this beautiful but challenging phase of life.
