Important thing abt toddler !

According to neuroscience, 90% of your toddler's brain is wired before kindergarten. School starts too late. By age 5, over a trillion neural connections have already formed. What's there, stays. What isn't, doesn't.

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, understanding that a toddler's brain forms over a trillion neural connections by age five truly changed how I approached early childhood development for my own kids. Neuroscience reveals that the brain is highly malleable in these years, and what connections are used frequently get strengthened, while those ignored get pruned away. This means that daily experiences at home have a far greater impact than what a child might later encounter in school. For example, simple activities like talking frequently, reading colorful books, exposing toddlers to varied sounds and images, and using educational posters at their eye level can stimulate those crucial neural pathways. I found that repeating simple shapes, letters, and colors regularly helped my children internalize these foundations because repetition is key to reinforcing neural wiring. Moreover, it's important to remember that expensive programs are not necessary. Consistent, everyday interaction and learning opportunities create meaningful brain connections. Schools often start after the most intensive brain wiring period, highlighting how critical the home environment is in shaping a child's cognitive development. In my community, sharing tips with other parents and offering practical, affordable ways to nurture toddlers' brains has made a big difference. Small changes at home, like creating a language-rich environment and exposing children to diverse sensory experiences, truly support healthy brain growth. This is a powerful reminder that what happens before kindergarten lays the groundwork for all future learning and development.
