My Notion Calendar Set-Up 🗓️

Planning my week with the new aesthetic calendar from Notion 💫

I was very excited for this release, because I don’t love using multiple calendar apps, so I was never a big fan of Google Calendar 🤫 but I really wanted to have one calendar for all of my things.

Now, I can do this with Notion calendar 😭

Not only is it an aesthetic calendar in terms of design, it’s also functional, because I can integrate my personal, content, and work calendars, all in one place, and have it on my Notion dashboard. What more can you ask for?

Will be using this going forward to schedule all of my tasks and time-block my days ✨ Have you tried it?

... Read moreOkay, so you’ve heard the buzz about Notion Calendar, and like me, you're probably eager to streamline your life! My journey to finding the perfect calendar app led me straight to this gem, and I'm here to share how you can get started and truly boost your productivity. First things first: how to get Notion Calendar for yourself? It's super straightforward. If you're on a MacBook like I am, you’ll find it’s a seamless experience. Just head over to Notion's official website or your device's app store – yes, it's readily available for iOS and Android too! I remember downloading it for FREE and being impressed by how quickly I could get it running. For Mac users, the desktop app integrates beautifully into your system, making it feel like a native part of your workflow. It’s definitely a game-changer if you’ve been looking for a dedicated Notion app for MacBook. Once you have it installed, the real magic begins with its features. One of the biggest reasons I switched was the ability to integrate my Google Calendar directly. This means all my existing events, whether personal, work-related, or for my content creation schedule, automatically populate. It’s truly amazing to have work, personal, and content creation calendars all in one place. No more jumping between different apps trying to figure out what’s next! The OCR results also highlighted how it 'combines Google calendars with Notion,' which is exactly what I needed. Now, let’s talk about Notion Calendar app features that really make a difference for productivity. I love the clean, aesthetic layout. It’s not just pretty; it’s incredibly functional. I can easily toggle between a monthly overview, a weekly view, or even a detailed daily overview. This helps me see my commitments at a glance and plan my days effectively. For instance, the OCR showed a 'Daily overview' with specific times for 'Weekly Kick Off,' 'Lunch break,' and 'Marketing Catch Up' – these are the real-world scenarios where Notion Calendar shines. For anyone focused on Notion Calendar view productivity, try time-blocking. I carve out specific blocks for tasks, meetings, and even breaks. The 'Upcoming in 45min' feature seen in the OCR is fantastic for staying on track and knowing what's coming up without constantly checking the clock. It’s like having a personal assistant reminding you about your next 'Operations Research Standup' or 'Client call.' And let’s not forget the Notion Calendar icon itself – it's a fresh new addition that signals a unified approach to your digital life. If you're a student, professional, or creator, this tool genuinely helps in managing deadlines, projects, and personal appointments. It’s not just a calendar; it’s a comprehensive organization hub that truly integrates everything. I encourage you to download it and experience the streamlined productivity for yourself!
