💬 [What’s Notion Calendar]

1. 🍋 So, in the New update, Notion Calendar got added. It’s essentially a central control calendar that you can use for ALL of Notion. This is because you can connect multiple calendars from Notion to this one place.

📆 [How to use Notion Calendar + Features]

1. 🍋 The calendar is connected to Databases, so first type “/database” and click “New Database”
(Now you can customize it to your liking. I recommend setting it up for a calendar like a tasks database)
2. 🍋 Next, type “/calendar” and click on the database that you just created or any other database you want as a calendar.
3. 🍋 Now, click “Open in Calendar” at the top of the calendar database (Its a little hard to see but it should have a red calendar icon to it) (Next, sign in)
4. 🍋 After, go to the left side panel of Notion and click on the eye for your calendar database. This will make sure that it’s enabled in the calendar
5. 🍋 Now it will show the different pages from your database on the calendar.
6. 🍋 If the task or page is in 1 day, then the calendar allows you to increase the length of a task by hovering over the edge and dragging it
(From this, I usually like to timeblock my day (splitting my tasks into time periods throughout the day))

📋 [Advanced Notion Calendar Features]

1. 🍋 One HUGE feature of Notion Calendar is how you can connect multiple databases to the one calendar
2. 🍋 First, you need 2 different calendar databases in Notion. Then, go back to Notion Calendar
3. 🍋 Now back in the side panel, there should be multiple databases in the list. Now, make sure all the databases are visible. You can then drag and readjust times of BOTH database tasks/pages in the 1 single calendar (Quick Note: The multiple databases show different colors)
4. 🍋 You can also put multiple tasks or pages into the SAME time period. It was just show that they are both maintaining a similar time period
