Another breakfast plate!

I used to start off with just eggs as my protein source, but each egg only has about 6 g of protein. I try to aim for about 25 to 30 g each meal, and thats a lot of eggs

By adding Greek yogurt, I can add another 10 to 15 g of protein, probiotics, and extra gut healthy toppings with the plant diversity.

Filling and nourishing!

Sourdough toast

Almond butter

Bananas

Eggs with everything bagel seasoning

Greek yogurt

Pumpkin seeds

Raspberries

Pomegranate seeds

Bee pollen

Honey

While eggs alone provide about 6 grams of protein each, achieving your protein target of 25 to 30 grams per meal can be challenging without variety. Adding Greek yogurt is an excellent strategy—not only does it add 10 to 15 grams of protein, but it also contributes probiotics, which support a balanced gut microbiome. Including a diverse range of plant-based toppings such as pumpkin seeds, raspberries, pomegranate seeds, and bee pollen enhances both nutrient density and flavor complexity. These foods deliver antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber that feed beneficial gut bacteria, promoting digestive health and immune function. A spoonful of honey adds natural sweetness and can soothe the digestive tract. Incorporating sourdough toast with almond butter introduces healthy fats that help absorb fat-soluble nutrients and maintain satiety through the morning. The use of everything bagel seasoning on eggs highlights a simple way to add flavor without relying on excessive salt or processed condiments. From my personal experience, this combination not only keeps me full and energized for longer but also improves digestion and supports steady blood sugar levels. Preparing breakfast this way each morning ensures a nutrient-rich, balanced start that aligns with whole food principles and gut health optimization. If you're looking to diversify your breakfast routine while staying mindful of protein and gut wellness, consider experimenting with different seeds, fruits, and probiotic-rich foods like Greek yogurt. Such variety supports a robust and resilient microbiome, which can positively impact overall health, mood, and energy throughout the day.
