Stroke, a disease near everyone should know.✨

This story happened as we traveled from Thailand to South Korea, and when the plane landed and the door opened, we began to feel abnormal, with a ruptured cerebral vein called Stroke in the young, which doctors had not yet been able to determine.

As the plane landed at Incheon Airport, we woke up and found that the headphones were missing, so we meant to ask the flight attendant, but the words couldn't come out. We thought it might be a dry throat, so we didn't care about the headphones and went off the plane to buy water. But when we tried to drink water, the water choked out all the way, and we didn't go down.

Although unable to speak, we walked normally, easily passing through immigration, which in our hearts secretly hoped that the authorities would notice some of our irregularities, but finally came through the airport.

😵‍💫 confusion at the infirmary.

We decided to go to the airport infirmary, but because we couldn't speak, the doctor didn't understand the symptoms and thought we were fine, just lay down for saline. We tried to communicate by writing, but the letters switched around and read. Even the word "hospital" couldn't write. Until the time of the shift, the new doctor decided to kick us out of the infirmary because we didn't have a clear illness but couldn't speak.

In our minds, we were confused about whether to go to our ex-girlfriend by appointment, but when we couldn't remember our own four-digit code when we remembered it accurately. And when we looked at ourselves in the bathroom, we started to notice that the corners of the mouth were getting slightly crooked and drooling.

As soon as we saw these symptoms, we thought of a close doctor who had told us about the symptoms of a stroke, the BE-FAST acronym, which we had F (crooked face) and S (unspeakable), assuring us that this was Stroke's symptoms, of course, but the problem was how to communicate with the doctor.

Finally found a solution.

Finally, we realized that our notebook computer did not lock the code, so we typed the word "stroke" to communicate with the doctor. Fortunately, the automatic correction system helped correct the printed word. The doctor immediately understood the symptoms and immediately called an ambulance to take us to the nearest hospital.

For almost 24 hours, we were stuck at the airport. When we arrived, the doctor at the hospital brought water to drink and we still choked on the water. This condition further confirmed that we had a stroke. Since we reached the doctor's hand late, the brain damage was permanent. We became unable to speak for a full year. We had to treat speaking again like a child just learning to speak. Now we can speak but not the same. Speaking very slowly, which has the effect of permanent brain damage. So we want to share our experience with everyone to realize the importance of health and how to observe the symptoms of the stroke.
