20 min Painting Sketches
I've been learning from Henrick Uldalen that oil paint sketching is a good way to experiment and warm up.
These eyes took about 20 minutes each. I'm not used to using large, loose strokes, but they really help keep me from getting lost in the details. I'm forced to define the larger shapes before refining anything.
At some point maybe I'll stop being obsessed with eyes, but probably not anytime soon.
