When they flickered back on, a body was reported. It was Sourdhice, found DEAD near MedBay. Immediately, the accusations started flying. 'Where were you?' 'Who was near MedBay?' I saw GothGirlXP and Seamarcane both claiming they were in Storage, but their stories had slight discrepancies. This is where the real fun begins – the detective work! You have to pay close attention during these emergency meetings. Who's being too quiet? Who's talking too much? Who's trying to shift blame without solid proof? My biggest tip for finding the impostor is observation. Don't just run around doing tasks. Keep an eye on others. Did someone fake a visual task? Did they spend too long in a vent? Or, conversely, did they finish a task impossibly fast, like completing manifold in Storage in two seconds? If you see someone standing still at a task bar without the bar going up, that's a huge red flag! Also, keep track of who is cleared. If you see someone perform a visual task like medbay scan or trash ejection, they're usually safe. But even then, sometimes skilled impostors can trick you. Another crucial aspect is communication during the Voting Begins In phase. Clearly state your location and what you saw. Don't just say 'sus.' Explain why you think someone is suspicious. For instance, I pointed out that GothGirlXP seemed to follow me from Electrical to the cafeteria, then quickly turned back. It wasn't definitive proof, but it added to the suspicion. The impostor often tries to isolate crewmates, so if you see someone constantly trying to split up groups, be wary. Playing as a crewmate is all about completing your TAL TASKS COMPLETED quickly and efficiently while staying vigilant. Don’t ignore crucial tasks like fixing O2 or reactor, as impostors love using sabotages to create chaos and get easy kills. On the flip side, if you're the impostor, managing sabotages is key. Cutting the lights or locking doors can create perfect opportunities. Faking tasks convincingly, knowing vent routes, and framing innocent players are all part of the game. It’s a delicate balance of deception and quick thinking. In the end, after a lot of back-and-forth and one more body (poor Seamarcane was found in Navigation), we finally narrowed it down. It turned out GothGirlXP was indeed one of the impostors. The relief and excitement were immense! It's these dramatic moments, the 'who among us' mystery, that make Among Us so incredibly addictive. Every game is a new puzzle, a new story, and a new chance for epic drama.
