Never underestimate the waiting room, there is where the resilience the patience, the knowledge, rhe courage and the strength grows. Never underestimate the will power and never underestimate the quiet ones… we don’t need to talk, we just do the work. 🫡😉.
Moving to a new country and starting fresh in a competitive field can feel overwhelming. When I relocated to the USA in 2012 to continue my career as a makeup artist, I faced countless obstacles. There were moments when rejection and doubt surrounded me, yet it was during those truly challenging times that patience and resilience became my greatest allies. The ‘waiting room’—whether literal or metaphorical—is where we develop critical inner strength. It’s easy to underestimate the quiet moments where nothing seems to be happening. However, that stillness is precisely where determination and courage grow. I didn’t always have to speak up loudly or prove myself to everyone; instead, consistent work and belief in my craft spoke volumes. Willpower drives us to push forward despite fear of failure or discouragement. Often, the quietest people are the most focused and determined because they channel energy into actions, not words. Embracing patience means trusting the process and understanding that success rarely comes overnight. From my personal journey, I encourage anyone facing adversity to keep working quietly but purposefully. Success is not always about immediate recognition—instead, it’s about the cumulative effort that builds lasting results. Every setback is a lesson, every moment of waiting an opportunity to grow stronger. This mindset has not only shaped my career but empowered me to remain confident even when others underestimated me. If you’re in a similar place where you feel overlooked or uncertain, remember that resilience, patience, and quiet courage are the foundations of eventual triumph. Let your work speak for itself and maintain faith in your journey. Over time, these qualities transform challenges into stepping stones toward your goals.
