Visiting White House after watching house of cards

It's the twice-a-year White House Open House again. I came once last year and again this year. This time, my mood is completely different. Last year, I simply visited the presidential residence. This year, I came again after watching House of Cards. From the moment I entered the door, every security guard looked like Meechum for me. In the White House, I felt that Francis and Claier were secretly observing and mocking everyone who came here through the gap between the curtains behind the window. Maybe Tom was also in there at this moment, and the three of them were observing together. (My skin hair stood up) I could even hear the two "dong dong" sounds of him knocking on the table in the house. Claier's eyes were like torches, but she was still smiling faintly, waiting for people to leave before going out for a run. Francis ran to the kitchen to take out bread and spread his peanut butter... The two of them discussed who to win over and who to overthrow in the November election...

I felt like there was a pair of eyes staring at me the whole time I visited the White House. I unconsciously replaced the photos of past presidents in the garden photos with Francis. I can't help with the sequelae of House of Cards, hahaha. I have always hated politicians. I wonder if the real world is just as brutal or even worse? The election is coming up in November. Will Francis win?

The show's representation of political maneuvering brings a unique perspective to real-life events, making any visit feel charged with drama. As the election approaches, one can't help but think of the strategies and charismatic tactics employed by real-life politicians mirror those depicted in the series. It's fascinating to consider how the influences of a show can shape our perceptions of actual political figures, turning a simple visit into an imaginative exploration. The ambiance of the White House, with its rich history, adds another layer to this experience. Whether you're a casual visitor or a history buff, each room has stories to tell, making it essential to absorb the atmosphere and appreciate its significance. Even the seemingly mundane moments—like a conversation over peanut butter—can take on a deeper meaning when viewed through this lens. Fans of the show might find themselves envisioning scenes as they walk through the grand halls, engaging their imaginations in a way that enhances the visit. Overall, the juxtaposition of fiction and reality promotes a rich dialogue about the nature of politics, making this visit not just a tour, but an immersive experience in understanding how narratives shape our view of the real world.
