On the third year of his death, Pokcha was given a three-day leave from heaven and came down to earth with a new guide who was in charge of guiding the rules. He was looking forward to seeing his proud daughter, a professor at a prestigious university in the United States, but he was confused to see Jinju who returned to his hometown and ran a set meal restaurant.
It is a story about a deceased mother who has only been on vacation for three days to visit her daughter.

『母と私の3日間』は、「もし亡くなった家族に、ほんの少しだけ会える時間があったら？」というテーマが刺さる韓国映画でした。ポスターの、家屋の前で若い女性と年配の女性が並んで座っている温かい雰囲気のまま、物語も“優しさ”と“残酷な時間制限”が同居していて、観終わったあとしばらく動けませんでした。 私が特にグッときた見どころは、天国から帰ってきた母が「会えるのが嬉しい」だけじゃなく、娘の暮らしを目の当たりにして心が揺れるところ。娘はアメリカの名門大学の教授として立派に生きている…はずなのに、母が見た現実は少し違う。ここで描かれるのが、親が子どもに抱く“誇らしさ”と“心配”の両方で、どちらか一方じゃないのがリアルでした。 そして、この作品は涙ポイントが「不幸だから泣ける」ではなく、「言えなかった言葉があるから泣ける」タイプ。娘は母に会いたいのに、会っても伝えたいことを伝えるのが難しい。母も娘を置いて帰れない。限られた3日間の中で、2人がどうやって気持ちに近づいていくのかが最大の見どころだと思います。 個人的におすすめの観方は、できれば夜に一人か、気心知れた相手と。観ながら思い出を重ねてしまうので、ハンカチ必須です。観終わったあとに、家族に一言でも連絡したくなる映画でした。 配信は本文にもある通りU-NEXTで観られるので、気になって検索してきた方は、まずは何も情報を入れずに再生してみてほしいです。あらすじを知っていても泣けるけど、初見のほうが“3日間”の重みがより効いてくると思いました。
