... Read moreTrusting God isn't a one-time event; it's something we must choose daily, which aligns beautifully with the message in Luke 9:23. From my own experience, I’ve found that the most challenging moments often come with an internal battle between fear and faith. When faced with uncertainty, it's easy to default to fear or doubt. However, intentionally choosing to trust God every day fosters a resilience that gradually transforms your mindset and outlook on life. What helps me maintain this daily choice is integrating small but consistent spiritual practices like prayer, reflection on scripture, and surrounding myself with supportive faith communities. These habits reinforce the decision to put trust in God ahead of fear and anxiety. Also, acknowledging that fear is a natural human feeling but doesn’t have to control our actions empowers me to keep choosing faith again and again. This consistency in faith parallels other areas of life, such as fitness or personal growth, where progress requires daily commitment and perseverance. Just like building physical strength or developing healthy habits, cultivating trust in God daily brings long-term transformation. It’s not about perfection but the ongoing relationship with our faith that grows stronger with each deliberate choice. For anyone struggling to trust God consistently, remember that every day is a new opportunity to choose faith. Even if yesterday’s fears felt overwhelming, today offers a fresh start. Embracing this mindset creates space for hope and peace to flourish amidst life’s challenges.
