💭What's on my mind: It’s Spring time ya’ll! A time for rebirth and growth! Out with the old and in with the new!

Current Mood: Excited, Optomistic

... Read moreHey everyone! Since we're diving into the amazing energy of Spring and all about renewal, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it truly means to rejuvenate ourselves. It’s not just about cleaning out your closet (though that’s a great start!), it’s about a deep, personal refresh for our minds and spirits. When we talk about rejuvenation, we're picturing feeling vibrant, refreshed, and full of life, right? But sometimes, life throws curveballs, and we end up feeling the complete opposite. You know those days when you feel worn out, like you’re just aging instead of growing, or experiencing a slow decline in energy? That's what it feels like when we're far from rejuvenation. This season is our chance to actively shed those heavy feelings and embrace "fresh beginnings." The OCR mentioned how "growth isn't instant, but every small shift brings new energy," and that perfectly describes this process of turning away from feeling weak or decayed inside. It’s also about feeling buoyant – light, optimistic, and able to bounce back from challenges. Think about those times when you feel the antonyms of buoyant: maybe you're feeling depressed, or carrying a heavy emotional load, or even sinking into a dull routine. Spring is such a powerful reminder to "let go of the weight of yesterday" and actively seek out that "new energy" that helps us feel lighter and more hopeful. For me, embracing something new often means consciously stepping away from what feels stagnant or heavy. And what about those old doctrines or beliefs that might be holding us back? Sometimes, we unconsciously adopt certain ways of thinking that, over time, no longer serve our highest good. These can be like personal doctrines – fixed ideas or rigid rules we live by. The antonyms of doctrine could be skepticism or a willingness to question. This Spring, I'm challenging myself to question any limiting beliefs I hold, to "shed what no longer serves you" in terms of my mindset. It’s about creating space for "rebirth" in our perspectives, rather than sticking to old, unhelpful mental frameworks. It doesn't have to be a miraculously sudden change, but a conscious choice to step out of the ordinary and embrace a new way of thinking. Speaking of miraculously, sometimes we expect huge, sudden transformations. We want things to change overnight, in a "miraculously" swift way. But the truth, as the OCR beautifully puts it, is that "growth isn't instant." It's about "every small shift." The antonyms of miraculously – predictably, ordinarily, normally – remind us that consistent effort, intentional choices, and embracing small steps forward are just as powerful, if not more so. This season, I'm focusing on those intentional steps, moving forward with "purpose" rather than waiting for a miracle. It's about finding the wonder in the everyday process of renewal, and recognizing that leaving behind what makes us feel un-rejuvenated or heavy isn't always a dramatic event, but a series of small, purposeful decisions. So, as we move into this beautiful season, let’s truly "embrace the light ahead" and commit to shedding everything that keeps us from feeling our most rejuvenated and buoyant selves. Let's make this Spring a time to let those things go that are holding you back, and take a chance on yourself to step into the next phase in your life!
