Books I’m Reading for the first time

Picked up these books the other day to start reading again after not reading for a very long time (the last book I had read was icebreaker and it was good) I ended up picking up From blood and ash and The Cruel Prince I’ve heard good things about these two books so I’m excited to start reading these! If anyone has recommendations for me I’d love to hear it!

... Read moreStarting a new reading journey after a long break can be both exciting and refreshing. When I picked up 'From Blood and Ash' by Jennifer L. Armentrout, I was drawn in by its rich, evocative storytelling. This novel is well-known for combining dark fantasy elements with a compelling romance, making it a captivating read that quickly pulled me in. It’s thrilling to explore a storyline filled with mystery, danger, and lush world-building. Similarly, 'The Cruel Prince' by Holly Black offers an entirely different but equally engaging fantasy experience. Set in the treacherous world of Elfhame, this book is lauded for its sharp characters and political intrigue. The story’s depth and the dark, magical atmosphere made me appreciate why author Leigh Bardugo praised it as a "dark jewel of a book." Both books are New York Times bestsellers, resonating with many fantasy enthusiasts looking for immersive narratives and complex characters. Reading these novels gave me a renewed passion for fantasy literature and a desire to explore more in this genre. For anyone considering these books, I recommend paying close attention to the intricate world-building and character development, as they truly bring the stories to life. If you have any fantasy book recommendations, especially titles filled with rich lore and compelling plots, I’d love to hear them. Sharing book suggestions helps create a community of readers who can discover fresh, captivating stories together. Enjoy your reading journey!

short, weird books to have a short, weird time
All of these books are less than 300 pages and two of them are under 200 👀 These books may not be easy reads, but they do go by fast! I love having short books on hand after finishing a longer series or even just for a break between bigger, heavier-themed books. That’s not to say that small book
