As the night falls, the square of the Sumitomo Building transforms into a magical Christmas world. With a large Christmas tree shining in silver at the center and glittering illuminations on the ceiling and surroundings, it looks like a magical space where snow dances.
A spiral staircase extends around the tree, and its design creates a beautiful weave of light and shadow. In addition, there are lights and delicate decorations with snow crystal motifs reminiscent of winter nature, inviting visitors to a romantic feeling.
This space is also popular as a photogenic spot, and many people capture a moment of fantasy with a smartphone or camera in one hand. It is perfect for a date with a lover or friend, a break after work, or a quiet night alone.
It is a wonderful place where you can feel the magic of Christmas - a special page of winter is quietly spelled out in the light of the tree illuminated by the night breeze.

私が行ったのは新宿の「住友ビル 三角広場」のCHRISTMASイルミネーション。東京でクリスマスツリーを探している人にかなりおすすめです。ビルの屋内広場なので、寒い日や風が強い日でもゆっくり見られて、体感的にかなり助かりました。 ■三角広場 行き方（都庁前駅A6出口直結） 一番わかりやすいのは、都営大江戸線「都庁前駅」A6出口を目指すルート。改札を出たら案内表示に沿ってA6へ進むと、地上に出ずにそのままビル側へ繋がっていて、雨の日もほぼ濡れません。新宿駅から歩く場合は地下通路が分岐していて迷いやすいので、初めてなら都庁前駅経由が安心でした。 ■見どころ：雪みたいに“降ってくる”光 中央の大きなクリスマスツリーだけじゃなく、天井や周囲のイルミネーションがきらきら降り注ぐ感じがあって、写真に撮ると本当に雪っぽい雰囲気になります。螺旋階段や雪の結晶モチーフのライトもあって、どこを切り取っても冬感が出やすいのが嬉しいポイント。 ■写真を撮るなら（私のやり方） ・人が多い時間はツリー正面より、少し斜めの位置から撮ると背景に光が入りやすい ・スマホならナイトモードON＋明るさを少し下げると、白が飛びにくくて上品に写りました ・階段をフレームに入れると奥行きが出て、イルミの立体感が増します ■混雑・過ごし方のコツ 仕事帰りの時間帯は撮影する人が増える印象。ゆったり撮りたいなら、点灯開始直後か平日の遅め時間が比較的スムーズでした。屋内なのでデートでも一人散歩でも入りやすく、さくっと寄れるのも三角広場の良さだと思います。 ※ちなみに検索で「有馬温泉 忍者道場」も一緒に出てくることがありますが、これは別エリアのスポットなので、東京の三角広場とは場所が異なります。行き先を間違えないようにだけ注意してください。 点灯期間は11/10〜12/25（毎日）とのこと。東京でクリスマスツリーを見たい日、迷ったらここを候補に入れてみてください。
