Finding Beauty Beyond the Mirror ✨
For years, I let society’s lies about beauty define me. As a plus-size, dark-skinned Black woman with 4C hair, I felt like I could never measure up to what the world called “beautiful.” But then I realized: God never asked me to meet their standards—He already called me beautiful.
Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” And guess what? That truth applies to YOU, too.
Now, I speak life into my reflection every day. Here’s what I tell myself:
✨ You are God’s masterpiece.
✨ Your skin, your curves, your hair—they are no mistake.
✨ Your worth isn’t defined by the world—it’s defined by the One who created you.
If you’ve ever struggled to love the mirror, let me remind you: you are enough. Society doesn’t define you—God does. And He doesn’t make mistakes.
❤️ What’s one truth you need to speak over yourself today? Share below—I’d love to cheer you on!
