3 Steps to Journal Your Gratitude Forward

It’s the first weekend of September — the perfect time to reset.

Here’s how I use gratitude journaling to move forward, not just look back:

1️⃣ Start small. Write down 3 things you’re grateful for right now. The little things count: a fridge full of food, the way your plants look greener, the sunlight in your apartment.

2️⃣ Stretch it. Let those gratitudes expand into what’s next: “I’m so grateful for the home I’m moving into. I’m so grateful Mimi has a backyard to sunbathe in. I’m so grateful for the opportunities my studies are opening up.”

3️⃣ Feel it. Gratitude is energy. The more you feel it, the more your pen writes a future that feels real.
