Hello everyone! I’m new to lemon8. I got extremely frustrated with other social media platforms and I kept seeing interesting things about lemon8 on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. I think I might have found a good new social media platform.
Anyway, I am a 36 year old stroke survivor. I live in west Texas with my parents currently. I’m engaged to a marine that used to be a bodybuilder. I’m a bonus mom to our kids.
I am very interested in
🩷 learning adaptive fitness
🩷 learning about self-care
🩷Jesus is my everything
🩷 learning about personal development
🩷pets and humor but especially dogs
🩷 mindset
🩷home decor inspiration
🩷books
I’m a book worm and a bit of a recluse. I’m mostly an introvert and prefer being home, especially being in a wheelchair at my age you would be surprised at the stares you get in Walmart when you’re 36 but look like you’re 16 and you’re in a wheelchair from a stroke. I don’t mind questions. I would honestly prefer someone ask instead of staring and judging. Anyway, I hope to make friends on here. Everyone have a blessed and joyful Tuesday evening.

I believe that platforms like Lemon8 can create spaces for understanding, positivity, and growth. Adaptive fitness is an essential part of my daily life; it's not just about physical wellness but also about building a mindset that's resilient and strong.
Engaging in self-care goes beyond the surface; it improves mental health and fosters a positive outlook on life. I encourage others, especially those with disabilities, to explore activities that promote well-being, such as reading, mindfulness, and connecting with the community. For book lovers like me, reading can be a fantastic escape, offering new perspectives and ideas for self-development.
My journey has also made me passionate about home decor and creating inspiring spaces that reflect one's personality, which can be incredibly therapeutic. Furthermore, pets, particularly dogs, bring joy and companionship—vital for emotional support.
In this shared space on Lemon8, it's essential to embrace openness—invite questions and foster authentic conversations. Let's build a community that uplifts and celebrates our diverse journeys.
