What 204 pounds looks like on me

To be very clear I’ve struggled most of my life with body image and my weight. I had an extremely severe stroke 6 years ago weighing 293. When the hospital released me I was 240 and by the time I finally got to start pt and seeing people that were constantly monitoring my weight I was 256 which is exactly when I decided I needed to do something about my weight. Originally that was extremely difficult because I was mostly bedridden needed help to use the bedside commode, shower, and even transfer to my wheelchair to be able to go to the table to eat dinner with my family

So I turned to Pinterest trying to figure out things I could do to improve my situation. Enter intermittent fasting and then supplements to try to help me get my weight under control. This worked well for a little while but eventually I got stuck at 215 and I wasn’t willing to stay that way.

Enter a different company that I thought was all about healthy weight loss but in reality was a supplement supported starvation plan. I did eventually get down to 140 during that time but I was also very sick and weak.

Now I still have a goal of eventually getting to 155 but I’m not starving myself to get to that point. I do still have parts of my body I want to improve the look of such as my thunder thighs and my love handles but I am not willing to starve myself again to get to that point. So yes part of me desperately wants to be at my ultimate goal weight right now but I also realize it will take time to get there in a healthy way.
